It does seem to depend on flux strength, though. So a single amalgamation touching multiple source nodes could potentially speed things up. |

Deff101: “I just wanted to ask if you managed to generate lux by only flowing flux over it. I tried flowing flux over amalgamation but it never worked. I now managed to do it and it takes a few minutes (10-20?)(I used contact with flux source nodes (It needs 2-3)). Are there just multiple ways to generate it?”
Infinity: this I do not know. I put amalgamation over water (of course) and build a reactor over the top to dump Flux on it. This seems to work for me. No physical contact between lux and amalgamation.
