Scaling is a core game mechanic in NodeCore. It allows the player to scale sheer faces.
To activate Scaling, you must hold Mouse2 with an empty hand while facing the node you want to scale, until a Scaling node appears.
Scaling nodes are designated by a dark particle effect. They produce a small amount of light, which may not be visible at the default gamma value. It is recommended to set your Light Curve Gamma to a value between 2 and 3, so that these "touch-lights" stand out against darkness, allowing you to navigate by touch.
You can use a Scaling node the same way you use a Ladder.
Scaling nodes will disappear after a while or if you go too far away.
