The sponge is a node that is used to soak up Water (and can also be used to dive for extended periods of time).
Obtaining
A sponge can be obtained by drying a Wet Sponge or a Living Sponge
Usages
Submerging a sponge in Water turns it into a Wet Sponge.
You can also hold dry sponges in your inventory to refresh your air supply underwater. The sponges will eventually turn into Wet Sponges.) (It will prefer to jump to the currently active inventory slot which can get in the way of other items.
