Type: Player Action (Passive)
Trigger: Walking forward for >3 seconds
Usage
Walking forward will trigger a gradual, but increasing, boost in speed after 3 seconds of continuous walking. This effect increases to a maximum speed at ~10 seconds of walking, by which time the player can be assumed to be in full sprint.
This effect will persist until it is cancelled or until the player stops holding down the forward key.

Cancelling Events
Running can be cancelled by the following events:
- Pressing the "down" arrow key while moving forward.
- Releasing the "up" arrow key.
