Zoom

Type: Player Action (Key-combination triggered)

Key Combination: "Z" (Standard Zoom), "Z + SHIFT" (Extended/Telescopic Zoom)

Usage

Pressing the "Z" key will trigger the builtin Minetest engine "zoom" feature. Pressing and subsequently holding down the "shift" key during this time will then incrementally increase the zooming effect.

The incremental zoom scales with time and will stay in effect for as long as the key-combination is held down; the effect has diminishing returns beyond ~20 seconds (~40 seconds the FoV is all but stationary). In addition to narrowing the field of view, the effect will start to load farther away chunks in the direction you're looking.
