'''Infinity:''' this I do not know. I put amalgamation over water (of course) and build a reactor over the top to dump Flux on it. This seems to work for me. No physical contact between lux and amalgamation.

It does seem to depend on flux strength, though. So a single amalgamation touching multiple source nodes could potentially speed things up.

Infinity: this I do not know. I put amalgamation over water (of course) and build a reactor over the top to dump Flux on it. This seems to work for me. No physical contact between lux and amalgamation.

It does seem to depend on flux strength, though. So a single amalgamation touching multiple source nodes could potentially speed things up.
