An eggcorn is a node that can be grown into a tree.

Obtaining

Eggcorns can be broken using any tool, and will drop themselves upon breaking.

Leaves

When fresh leaves are broken, their base chance of dropping an eggcorn is 5%. However, this decreases with distance from the tree trunk, and increases the closer you go to the trunk of the tree.

Usage

Eggcorns can be planted to grow a tree. However, it is not as simple as placing the eggcorn on dirt.
To plant an eggcorn:

  1. Dig a hole in the ground - such that you have a one-node-deep hole. With loose dirt in your inventory:
  2. Place the eggcorn on the bottom of the hole.
  3. Right-click the eggcorn while holding the loose dirt, and move away.
  4. Remember to observe the eggcorn's plant location.
  5. Enjoy your new tree eventually.

Soil and moisture affects speed of growth: more/better soil and/or moisture in radius of 2 nodes equals faster growth.
